cancellations, bins and bandages...

So this past trip our LAST flight of the trip was delayed and we Timed Out in Norfolk. After talking with scheduling, making sure we were booked at the crew hotel and finding out what we were doing the next day we got our things together to beat it out of there.

Now lets remember that I work on a regional jet. We are one of 'those' airplanes where we pink tag your rollarboards, put them in the cargo compartment for flight and then pull them back out for you to walk away with. Our overhead bins are a bit smaller than the larger planes so it makes it easier for everyone. Well, a few months ago, our company took away our storage for our flight attendant rollarboards in the plane. Now we are to place ours in the overhead bins... yup, thats right, right where we tell you yours can't go and won't fit.

So, I start pulling mine out of the overhead bin and I feel a pain in my wrist... the next day after I clock out and head to the medical station, I leave the airport looking like this...

Next time you fly on a plane and have to tag a bag, smile knowing that you are saving yourself a lot of time and trouble getting it in and out.
