We woke up early the next morning for a one day excursion out to a cluster of islands. We got to kayak and snorkel around a few of the islands which were absolutely gorgeous! I was so glad that we decided to do this, it was a lot of fun and we had some amazing views.
It was our last night on the island so we decided to go out again. We headed down the street and saw all the friends we had made at the bar the first evening. So, we hung out there again for a while.
We enjoyed a little breakfast on our patio the next morning, hit the pool for a bit and headed back towards Bangkok. It was a long 24 hours of traveling back... we got the taxi back to the ferry to the 2 hour bus and then had a long wait at the train station (which there was really nothing around there).
We talked our way onto an earlier train which ended up having engine and break problems. We were really glad once we finally got off the train!!!! Luckily for us, at each stop people would get on and off selling all sorts of food and drinks. I really don't know what we would have done without these ladies! (I wish the planes had this when we have delays!!)
We had the rest of the evening in Bangkok, headed back to Khoa San Road, got a shower, changed and headed out for dinner and drinks to pass the time until we had to head back to the airport around 3am. We found an amazing place for dinner on the next street over... it was so yummy!!! A great way to end a great trip!
