So we finally made it to Shanghai. Anne (Courtney's mom) was waiting for us in the airport with our crazy driver to take us to our wonderful hotel- The Howard Johnson (it really was wonderful). We arrived, checked in, got settled into our new home for 2 days and headed down for dinner. The Hotel manager had a special dinner that we were invited to, it was a multiple course dinner that was delicious.
Jetlagged and full of food, we decided to check out the hotel.
Finally we headed to the room and had a few beers to celebrate making it all the way to China.
We finally hit the hay and got some sleep for our filled day of touring Suzhou the next day...
